Haddonfield High School Baseball Team Earns No. 2 Seed in Playoffs
The Bulldawgs are seeded second in a loaded South Jersey Group 2 playoff field.

Haddonfield, NJ -- The Haddonfield High School baseball team begins its quest for an NJSIAA South Jersey Group 2 championship in a loaded playoff field on Monday.
The Bulldawgs are the No. 2 seed in the playoffs, and host No. 15 Woodstown in the first round on Monday, May 23, according to the bracket posted on nj.com on Thursday.
The winner of that game plays the winner of the game between No. 7 Lower Cape May and No. 10 Manchester Township on May 25.

The semifinals are set for May 31. The final is scheduled for June 3.
Haddonfield (13-3) has two fewer losses than top-seeded West Deptford, which was 16-5 this season. The teams split their regular season meetings, with West Deptford winning 8-3 on April 12 and Haddonfield taking the rematch, 4-2, on May 5.

Haddonfield’s toughest challenge is likely to come in the final. While No. 1 West Deptford is the likely opponent seed-wise, eighth-seeded Barnegat boasts a pitcher that might be the No. 1 overall pick in June’s Major League Baseball Draft.
