Haddonfield Independence Day Celebration Is On The Move

Renovations at the high school mean a change of scenery for the annual Fourth of July celebration.

HADDONFIELD, NJ — Due to renovations at Haddonfield Memorial High School, the borough’s Independence Day celebration is on the move. The Haddonfield Celebrations Association’s Fourth of July celebration will take place on Monday, July 3, 6 p.m. along Kings Highway between the Patco High Speed Line and Haddon Avenue. Fireworks begin around 9:20 p.m.

The Lions will serve hot dogs, drinks and pretzels near Mechanic Street and King's Court. There will also be food trucks between Chestnut Street and the High Speed Line.

There will be plenty for children to do, including Mickey's Play Park for toddlers, and a Hippo chow down, a double lane 20 foot slide, a 45 foot obstacle course and a bounce house for older children.

Each ride will require three tickets, and each ticket will be $1. A wristband for unlimited rides will be available for $20.

The Shore Thing will perform from 7:30 p.m. until the fireworks begin on the Camden County Stage at 116 Kings Highway.
