Haddonfield Interior Design Business Owner Launches Collection of Bras and Feminine Products; Drop-Off Bin at 7 N. Haddon Ave. Shop

A Haddonfield, NJ interior design business owner is accepting donations of new bras and feminine hygiene products for a non-profit group.

Haddonfield, NJ – As Thanksgiving approaches, a Haddonfield, NJ interior design business owner is inviting her all-women staff, clients and others to offer ‘thanks’ for their blessings and consider ‘giving’ to women who struggle to have very basic needs fulfilled in their difficult lives.
Bridget McMullin, owner of The McMullin Design Group (MDG), located at 7 N. Haddon Avenue in Haddonfield is collecting new bras and feminine hygiene products during the month of November. These products will be gathered at MDG’s showroom by a one-year old non-profit organization: Distributing Dignity (DD) co-founders and partners Joanie Balderstone and Rebecca McIntire of Cherry Hill.
Bridget and Joanie know each other from their high school days. Bridget says, “Distributing Dignity hits home for me. Until Joanie came to me to explain the plight of women who don’t have the resources to take care of these basic needs, I had never given this one thought. I attended an all-women college (Moore College of Art) and have an all-women business, so our effort to help other women during this season of Thanksgiving is a perfect fit.”
A “Distributing Dignity” bin is located inside The McMullin Design Group’s “b Company” showroom at 7 N. Haddon Ave. Donors are asked to provide new, larger-sized bras with tags on the items and new, unopened feminine products. Bridget suggests donors use store and manufacturer coupons to purchase items to donate.
Distributing Dignity will distribute items to domestic violence organizations, foster care groups and disaster relief centers which have applied to receive these donations for women. Distributing Dignity is a non-profit 501c3 organization. Donations are tax deductible.
Bridget McMullin is also hosting a ‘Thanks and Giving’ reception Thursday, November 13, 5:30 – 8 p.m. at the b Company showroom, 7 N. Haddon Avenue, Haddonfield. ‘Admission’ to the reception is a donation of new bras or feminine products for Distributing Dignity. Event details are at the MDG Facebook page: www.facebook.com/themcmullindesigngroup
