Haddonfield Property Targeted For Arson Multiple Times In Recent Years: Police

HADDONFIELD, NJ — The Haddonfield property where an individual deliberately set a car ablaze has been the target of arson before, authorities said.

Since 2017, there have been "multiple incidents" at the Concord Circle property, which has changed ownership several times, police said.

A suspect poured gasoline on a car in the homeowner's driveway and lit it on fire early Saturday morning, according to the Haddonfield Police Department (HPD).

There's no evidence to indicate that the greater Haddonfield community is at risk, police said. The agency asked the public to respect the current homeowners' privacy.

Police shared a photo of the suspect but have not publicly identified them.

The HPD, Camden County Prosecutor's Office and Haddonfield fire marshal continue to investigate.

"Detectives from both law enforcement agencies and the Fire Marshall are committed to solving the crimes and charging the individual(s) to bring closure to the residents of Concord Circle," the HPD said in a statement.
