Haddonfield Ranked Among Top 10 School Districts In NJ

The Haddonfield Public School District has been ranked among the top 10 districts in the state and the top 100 in the country by data compiler Niche. Haddonfield is ranked No. 9 in the state, and No. 87 in the country. Haddon Township was ranked No. 110 in the state in the rankings for the 2019-2020 school year, released Monday as part of the website's 2020 K-12 rankings.
Each New Jersey district received a letter grade in the following categories: Academics; Diversity; Teachers; College Prep; Clubs & Activities; Health & Safety; Administration; Sports; Food; and Resources & Facilities.
Haddonfield received an overall grade of A+. It received an A+ for academics, teachers, clubs & activities, college prep and health & safety. However, It received a C- for diversity. It is the top ranked district in Camden County.

According to Niche, Haddonfield has 2,633 students in grades PK, K-12 with a student-teacher ratio of 13 to 1. According to state test scores, 69 percent of students are at least proficient in math and 76 percent in reading. Last year, Haddonfield was ranked 10th in New Jersey and No. 126 nationally.
“While we understand these ratings fluctuate from year to year, we are elated to see that statistically Niche rates our Haddonfield schools as excellent,” Haddonfield Superintendent of Schools Larry Mussoline said. “Niche uses statistical data alongside of parental comments and even students comments about the district so being ranked this high in a powerful K12 academic state like New Jersey is something the Board and I are very pleased with.”

Haddon Township received an overall grade of B+. It earned an A for teachers and health & safety; an A- for academics and college prep; a B for clubs & activities; and a C for diversity. It is the fourth highest ranked district in Camden County.
According to Niche, Haddon Township has 1,747 students in grades PK, K-12 with a student-teacher ratio of 13 to 1. According to state test scores, 44 percent of students are at least proficient in math and 56 percent in reading.
To arrive at the rankings, Niche looked at data from the U.S. Department of Education as well as test scores, college data, and ratings collected from Niche users. (You can read more about the methodology here.)
According to Niche, the Glenbrook High Schools District 225 in Illinois is the best school district in the country overall.
With an overall Niche grade of A+, the district received a grade of A+ in academics, teachers, clubs and activities, college prep and health and safety. In the category of diversity, Niche awarded the school district a B.
