Haddonfield Residents Asked To Help Shape Borough's Future
A pair of strategic planning meetings will be held at Borough Hall later this month.

HADDONFIELD, NJ — Haddonfield residents are invited to help shape the future of their hometown. Officials are asking for the public’s input on its four-year strategic plan during a pair of meetings on Wednesday, Oct. 25, 7 p.m.; and on Saturday, Oct. 28, 10 a.m. in the Borough Hall auditorium. Borough Hall is located at 242 Kings Highway East.
Officials will use the meetings to define the borough’s mission for helping Haddonfield “maintain its charm and desirability as a place to live, work and shop.” The plan is designed to ensure Haddonfield has a successful future while emphasising its unique characteristics, officials said in the announcement.
Attendees will be asked to fill out a survey that will rank concerns and gather ideas in the borough’s efforts to make sure the priorities of each department, the commissioners, community residents and business owners are aligned.

The borough will also send out surveys to identify potential issues and solutions in November. Officials expect the strategic plan to take between six months and one year to develop. It will focus on areas such as infrastructure, public safety, financial management, public works and communication.
After the strategic plan is developed, Haddonfield will develop an action plan that will be broken down by department and included in future budget plans.
