Haddonfield Trio Helps Club Soccer Team to National Title
3 players with Haddonfield roots helped guide Match Fit Academy to the U16 national title.

Haddonfield, NJ -- A pair of rising juniors who will be captains for the Haddonfield Memorial High School boys soccer team in the fall were captains of a team that won the U.S. Club Soccer 2016 national championship in the boys’ U16 super group division, the Haddonfield Sun reports.
Jack Dugan, Sam DeCencio helped guide the Match Fit Academy FC U16 Black to the national championship with a win over a team from Colorado last week, according to the report.
Gabriel DaSilva, who has played with Haddonfield’s club program in the past and was a key player for Delran High School’s team last fall, was also a key player for Match Fit Academy.

Match Fit Academy was made up of the best players from New Jersey and Pennsylvania, and defeated other teams of similar talent, including some players who had contracts with Major League Soccer developmental squads, in the tournament.
