Haddonfield, West Deptford Meet for South Jersey Title Sunday
Haddonfield defeated West Deptford in overtime earlier this season.

The Haddonfield and West Deptford high school football teams each feel like they are different teams since they met earlier this season, according to the Courier Post.
Earlier this season, Haddonfield defeated West Deptford, 28-25, in overtime in what nj.com described as an “epic that will go down as one of the greatest games in this storied rivalry.”
It’s hard to imagine a game being any closer when the teams meet for the NJSIAA South Jersey Group III title at Rowan University Sunday at noon.

The Bulldawgs are the defending champion and enters the game at 11-0. West Deptford is 9-2.
Haddonfield entered the playoff as the No. 3 seed. It opened with a 37-0 win over No. 6 Woodstown, and defeated No. 2 Buena, 38-7, to advance to the final.

West Deptford entered the playoff as the No. 5 seed. It opened with a 45-16 win over No. 4 Glassboro, and defeated No. 8 Collingswood, 7-0, to advance to the final.
One of these teams has played in 11 of the last 12 sectional finals. Haddonfield also won the title in 2010, and West Deptford has six championships to their credit, according to the Courier Post.
