Inaugural Spellbound Century Bicycle Ride Set for Saturday, August 1 in Mount Holly, NJ
All proceeds to benefit Mount Holly Recreation Trust

The Rock It Riders – a local bike club from Medford, NJ – will be hosting its inaugural Spellbound Century ride, a bike tour event with Spellbound Brewing (Mt. Holly), on Saturday, August 1 in Mount Holly, NJ to benefit the Mount Holly Recreation Trust. The ride begins and ends at Spellbound Brewing – located at 10 Lippincott Lane, Unit 12, Mount Holly, NJ, right off Washington Street. Rider check-in/registration begins at 7 a.m., and the event will conclude with a lunch and celebration at the brewery.
Riders have the option of doing a 25, 45, 63 or 100-mile ride, with stops at local farm stands and storefronts along the way. Rest stops along the ride routes include Mr. McGregor’s Garden in Jobstown, Emery’s Blueberry Farm in New Egypt and Budds K-n-P Farm in Pemberton. At each stop, riders will be treated to fresh fruits and drinks for their journey. Riders will also receive a 10% discount from any purchases they made from Mr. McGregor’s Garden and Budds K-n-P Farm throughout the day. Additionally, any of the fresh pies purchased from Mr. McGregor’s or homegrown Jersey fresh produce from Budds K-n-P Farm can be shipped to the starting point of the ride, or riders can return to the stores after the completion of their ride to make their purchases in person.
Additional event features include a DJ, a masseuse and other fun activities for folks to enjoy. At the completion of the ride, participants will return to Spellbound Brewing for a celebratory lunch of pizza from Downtown Pizza, a pint of beer from Spellbound Brewing and Italian water ice from Vincent’s Home Made Ice Cream – all local merchants of Mount Holly.

The Mount Holly Recreation Trust sponsors programs for children and adults throughout the year including sports leagues (youth basketball, etc.); athletic events (5K run/walk); summer recreational programming for children in the township (kick ball, movie nights); seasonal celebrations and more.
Registration is required and is limited to 300 participants MAX. Registration can be made in advance by visiting www.rockitriders.org or www.spellboundbrewing.com. Riders may also register the day-of the event – check-in for each ride begin promptly at 7 a.m. (NOTE: Riders, please do not plan on checking in prior to 7 a.m.). Registration and start times vary for each of the routes– riders are encouraged to take advantages of ride services (food stops, SAG support and safety services) by observing the following times:

· 100-mile century ride – registration begins at 7 a.m., ride start at 7:30 a.m.
· 63-mile ride – registration begins at 7:30 a.m., ride start at 8 a.m.
· 45-mile ride – registration begins at 8:30 a.m., ride start at 9 a.m.
NOTE: All participants are expected to have completed their rides and back at Spellbound Brewing by 2 p.m. – lunch will be served from 12-2 p.m., with all event services and activities ending at 3 p.m.
The cost to participate is $40 per rider, and includes SAG support, refreshment-stocked rest stops and lunch. The cost for non-riders is $10. All riders must wear helmets and obey traffic laws at all times.
