Introduction to Honey Bees and Beekeeping

Presented by Rutgers Cooperative Extension of Camden County

"An Introduction to Honey Bees and Beekeeping" will be presented by Rutgers Cooperative Extension of Camden County. We will provide you with an introduction to the unique biology of the honey bee, how they organize their hive, make their honey and what beekeepers do in concert with them. A fully assembled hive and equipment that beekeepers use will be available to examine. This workshop will be held January 23rd at the Camden County Environmental Center, 1301 Park Blvd., Cherry Hill, NJ 08002 Sign-in at 8:00am with the class starting promptly at 8:30 am until 12:00.
