Live Music/WinterFest Ball: What's Happening In South Jersey

Just because New Year's is over doesn't mean the fun has to stop. The snow is disappearing, and there's plenty of live music and entertainment happening in towns across South Jersey this weekend. Here's a look at some of the events, courtesy our friends at Visit South Jersey.

WinterFest
January 12, 13, & 14 | 12 PM - 10 PM
Cooper River Park, Pennsauken

Cooper River Park has once again transformed into a winter wonderland with tasty treats and ice skating family fun! WinterFest is the perfect place to spend your holiday nights skating with friends and family. While you're there, make sure you visit The Lodge and Winter Forest. You can even take an ice skating lesson! WinterFest is open every day until February 14.

Ragtime Opening Night
Friday, January 12 | 8 PM
The Ritz Theatre Company, Haddon Township

The Ritz Theatre Company opens their 33rd season with a show that has been on their dream list for some time - Ragtime. Through a sweeping musical score, Ragtime tells the story of three groups in the United States in the early 20th century: African Americans, upper-class suburbanites of New Rochelle, New York and Eastern European immigrants. The show runs through February 4.

Pony Winterfest Ball

DREAM Park, Logan Township

Come to DREAM Park for their Pony Winterfest Ball! Kids are invited to dress as their favorite prince or princess for a fun-filled day of toys, games, and pony rides. Admission is $15 per child and adults are free. Admission includes one pony ride and reservations are not required.

Join in with other volunteers to help with service projects in several buildings and along the trails at Whitesbog Village to celebrate Martin Luther King Jr. Day of Service! There will be hot drinks, water, juice, bananas, and doughnuts for all the volunteers and pizza will be served for lunch. Please dress for the weather and in things that can get a bit dirty.
