Lourdes Senior Services Recognizes Volunteers Making Impact on South Jersey Community

Ceremony honored 130 volunteers

Our Lady of Lourdes Medical Center recently held its annual recognition ceremony for 130 volunteers to thank them for the impact they have made on children, seniors and the disabled throughout South Jersey. In their roles, volunteers for Lourdes’ three Senior Services programs—Foster Grandparents, Senior Companions and Helping Hands—serve as role models and mentors, companions, and respite caregivers to hundreds of residents in Camden, Burlington, Atlantic, Gloucester and Salem counties. Festivities included music, brunch, and remarks from Lourdes clergy and physician leadership to thank volunteers for their service.
