Man Barricades Himself in Haddon Township Home
Police were able to get the man out of the home peacefully.

An incident in which a man barricaded himself in a Haddon Township home was resolved peacefully on Wednesday, Camden County Prosecutor Mary Eva Colalillo and Haddon Township Police Chief Mark Cavallo announced.
Haddon Township Police responded shortly before noon to a report of an adult male inside a residence on the 400 block of Addison Avenue.
A relative described him as being intoxicated suicidal and having access to firearms.

Police determined the man was barricaded alone inside the residence.
The Camden County Prosecutor’s Office, Camden County Sheriff’s Department and other law enforcement partners responded to aid Haddon Township Police.

During the incident, the man fired several shots inside the residence.
He also shot at a tactical robot that police had sent inside.
Police were eventually able to get the man to leave the residence around 3:20 p.m.
He was uninjured, and was taken for medical evaluation.
The man was not identified by police.
Charges are pending the outcome of an investigation.
