Man Accused Of Killing Camden Co. Teen Was Found In FL: Prosecutor
He evaded law enforcement for more than a month after fatally shooting an 18-year-old, authorities said.

WINTER HAVEN, FL — A man accused of murdering a teen in Camden was apprehended Thursday in the Sunshine State, officials said.
Xavier Rivera was charged Oct. 27 in the shooting death of Jesus Manuel Ortiz-Hernandez, which occurred nine days prior, according to the Camden County Prosecutor's Office (CCPO). Local authorities discovered the suspect's location in Winter Haven, Florida, where federal marshals took him into custody, authorities said.
Winter Haven — part of Central Florida — is about 50 miles from both Orlando and Tampa.

Rivera, 23, of Camden, was charged with first-degree murder and weapons offenses. He remains in Florida, with extradition pending.
Ortiz-Hernandez, 18, was shot at about 4:15 p.m. Oct. 18 on the 2700 block of Hayes Avenue in Camden, the CCPO said. Officials took the city resident to Cooper University Hospital, where he was pronounced dead at about 7:15 p.m. that night, according to law enforcement.
