Man Found Dead Outside South Jersey Elementary School, Homicide Probe Launched: Prosecutor
The victim suffered an apparent gunshot wound, according to the Cumberland County Prosecutor's Office.

MILLVILLE, NJ — Authorities opened a homicide investigation after finding a dead man inside a vehicle early Monday morning at a South Jersey elementary school.
Millville police reported to Rieck Avenue Elementary School at about 5 a.m. because of an unresponsive individual in the vehicle. The victim died from an apparent gunshot wound, according to the Cumberland County Prosecutor's Office.
The county agency identified the decedent as Mark Hoffman, 20, of Millville. The investigation is ongoing, and there's no known threat to the public at this time, the prosecutor's office said at about 3:40 p.m. Monday.

The elementary school is in its final week of classes for the school year, according to the district website.
