Man Stabbed Couple, Killing Woman, In Their South Jersey Home: Prosecutor
The incident also seriously injured the woman's husband, authorities said.
VINELAND, NJ — A man faces several charges after a double stabbing that killed a woman and severely injured her husband, according to the Cumberland County Prosecutor's Office.
On Wednesday, authorities apprehended the suspect — identified as Zachary M. Adamo. The charges stem from a homicide investigation, initiated after police found two stabbing victims in their Vineland home on July 28, prosecutors said.
Sharon Taylor, 60, was pronounced dead. Her husband James Taylor, 51, was hospitalized with serious injuries, authorities said.

Adamo, 36, of Millville, was charged with murder (first-degree), attempted murder (first-degree), aggravated assault (second-degree), burglary (second-degree), two counts of possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose (third-degree), and one count each of fourth-degree unlawful possession of a weapon, tampering with evidence, and contempt of a court order.
Officials placed Adamo in the Cumberland County Jail, with a detention hearing pending.
