Man Stole, Damaged LGBTQ Flags Along Road In South Jersey, Police Say

He was arrested on Tuesday.

HADDONFIELD, NJ — A 37-year-old man was arrested after he stole and damaged multiple LGBTQ flags in the business district of the township, Haddonfield Police said.

On Monday, multiple people reported that a person was damaging flags along Kings Highway, officials said.

Using video evidence and witness reports, authorities were able to identify Joshua Serad, of Maple Shade, as the suspect.

He was arrested and charged on Tuesday before being released pending a court appearance.

The charging details were not immediately available.
