25 Drug Charges For Man Who Tried To Flush Evidence In Camden County Raid: PD

Police have arrested a man twice in seven months for distributing and selling drugs on the same street, said officials.

BELLMAWR, NJ — Police have arrested a man twice within seven months for distributing and selling drugs, and said he tried to flush evidence down the toilet when officers executed a search warrant.

Bellmawr police charged Marc Mingle with 25 drug-related charges after a Friday morning search at a Rockville Drive home, according to Lt. William Perna.

Police seized a variety of different controlled dangerous substances (CDS) at the residence, Perna said, including methamphetamine, cocaine, acid, and several different kinds of pills. Mingle tried to flush multiple pieces of evidence down the toilet, police said.

"This is the second investigation and arrest within 7 months into the distribution and sale of CDS from Rockville Dr. with Mingle as the main suspect," Perna said.

During the search, police said they seized the following:

  • 1.8 ounces of methamphetamine
  • 769 acid blotters (22,680 milligrams)
  • 28 packets of Suboxone
  • 5 grams of cocaine
  • 125 Xanax pills
  • 9 OxyContin pills
  • 10 amphetamine pills
  • 4.5 Diazepam pills
  • 6 milliliters of gamma hydroxybutyrate (G.H.B.)
  • 1.6 ounces of phencyclidine (PCP)
  • 6 MDMA (ecstasy) chewable tablets

Police charged Mingle with one count of tampering with evidence, three counts of first-degree distribution of controlled dangerous substances, two counts of second-degree distribution of CDS, and "multiple" counts of third-degree distribution of CDS and third-degree possession of CDS, said police.
