Manhunt After Fatal Daylight Shooting In South Jersey: Police
A 39-year-old man died after being shot multiple times in Camden Wednesday afternoon.

Police are investigating a fatal shooting that took place in broad daylight Wednesday afternoon in South Jersey. Camden County Police responded to reports of a person who was shot at the intersection of Morton and Norris Streets in Camden at about 2:48 p.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 16.
Arriving officers discovered that 39-year-old Mutota Amon, of Camden, had been shot multiple times, according to Camden County Prosecutor Mary Eva Colalillo and Camden County Police Chief Scott Thomson.
Amon was taken to Cooper University Hospital, where he died as a result of his injuries at about 3:05 p.m. The investigation is ongoing, and no arrests had been made as of Thursday morning.
