Media Friendly launches Wing Girl, networking help for anyone

Meeting people is not easy: Networking help for the socially awkward and shy

Media Friendly LLC has launched “Wing Girl,” a division that helps clients to network successfully at work events, speaking engagements, trade shows and conferences. Wing Girl’s mission is to help professionals meet prospects and other important people, especially if they are shy, nervous or awkward in a big group or one-on-one settings.

Wing Girl’s team has represented clients at conferences, making warm and hot leads, says Cheryl Squadrito, founder of Media Friendly and Wing Girl.

To date, Wing Girl earned tremendous results for clients. One satisfied client - a large nonprofit that works with at-risk students - scored major financial sponsorships from an international pharmaceutical company and a global food manufacturer. Also, at a recent event in Washington D.C., a Wing Girl team member “worked the booth” when the client was unavailable.

“I started Wing Girl as a way to help shy people network and get leads,” says Squadrito. “I like to network and I’m outgoing, so I was asked to work an event in St. Louis for a client. That event gave me the idea to start Wing Girl; so far, it’s been very successful just from word of mouth. Meeting people doesn’t need to be hard.”

Wing Girl services range from networking side-by-side at local networking events to attending conferences anywhere in America.
