MEND Seeks Hole Sponsors for Friends of MEND Golf Outing

MOORESTOWN, NJ – Moorestown Ecumenical Neighborhood Development, Inc. (MEND) invites area golfers to the 15th Annual Friends of MEND Golf Outing on Friday, May 10 at Deerwood Country Club in Westampton. Event sponsors include Assured Partners, Capehart Scatchard, Stout & Caldwell, Garrison Architects, General Glass Equipment Company, ScanLink and Turnkey Title.

MEND is announcing that the event is SOLD OUT and there is no more room for additional golfers. For those who will be golfing, registration begins at 11 a.m., with lunch at 11:30 a.m. and a shotgun start at 12:30 p.m. Scramble format rules apply. At 5 p.m. there will be a four-person shoot-out for a $1 million prize for a hole-in-one from 165 yards and a $10,000 50+ foot putting contest. Cocktails and hors d’oeuvres will be served on the outdoor patio facing the 18th green where the contests will be held.

For those who are not golfing but wish to support the event, MEND is offering an on-course advertising opportunity for Hole Sponsors for a donation of $250. See the attached sample Hole Sponsor sign. The Friends of MEND is a nonprofit foundation founded in 2003 for the purpose of raising funds to support MEND’s affordable housing mission in the Burlington County region. Over the last 14 years, The Friends of MEND have raised $350,000 through their Annual Golf Outing.
