Morning Traffic Report: How is Weather Impacting Travel in South Jersey?
A look at delays and accidents in South Jersey Monday morning.
The storm that promised to cause havoc with morning traffic followed through with that promise Monday morning.
As snow fell on South Jersey on Monday, traffic was slowed all over:
· A car went off the road on I-295 in Cherry Hill, causing delays between Exit 26 and Exit 32 in both directions;

· Route 73 was experiencing delays due to heavy traffic volume between Kresson Road and Evesham Road, and from the New Jersey Turnpike to I-295 in Mount Laurel;
· Route 42 was experiencing delays due to heavy traffic volume between the Black Horse Pike in Gloucester Township and I-295 in Bellmawr;

· There was heavy traffic on west from Route 42 to the Walt Whitman Bridge;
· The foot walk on the Ben Franklin Bridge was closed until further notice;
· The speed limit on the Commodore Barry Bridge between Logan Township in New Jersey and Chester in Pennsylvania has been reduced to 35 mph;
· There was heavy traffic on Route 55 between Exit 58 and Route 42.
NJ Transit is offering systemwide cross-honoring Monday-Wednesday. Riders can use their tickets on all forms of travel, including rail, light rail or bus, and including private bus carriers.
