Mount Holly Township Announces 2015 Independence Day Celebration

Friday, July 3, 2015 from 5 to 10:30 p.m.

Mount Holly Mayor Rich DiFolco announced that Mount Holly Township will be hosting a 2015 Independence Day Celebration on Friday, July 3, 2015 from 5 to 10:30 p.m. The celebration will be held in Ironworks Park, located at 157 Wollner Drive in Mount Holly, NJ.

“We are excited to kick-off Independence Day weekend with a fun, patriotic celebration the whole family can enjoy,” said Mayor DiFolco.

This year’s inaugural celebration will feature a variety of fun, family-friendly activities – all free of charge. Children and adults are invited to enjoy rides, bounces, slides and more. Folks can also enjoy a glow-in-the-dark hula hoop presentation.

Additionally, the event will boast more than 25 different food vendors from around the region, offering delicious culinary options sure to satisfy everyone’s palate, as well as a Beer tent for attendees 21 and older.

The celebration will also feature live music from 5 to 9 p.m. from QT & the Quirktones, White Limo (a Foo Fighters Tribute band) and Dayna Fisher, who will perform right before the start of the fireworks. New Mix 101.1 FM will also be onsite for the duration of the celebration.

The celebration will conclude with a spectacular themed fireworks display, entitled “Classic Rock throughout the Decades.” Fireworks are set to begin promptly at sundown.
