'Newtown' Documentary To Be Screened At Haddonfield Bookstore
The film will be shown at Inkwood Books Monday night.

HADDONFIELD, NJ — Independent book store Inkwood Books will host a screening of the documentary “Newtown” on Monday night, June 26, 7 p.m.-9 p.m. “Newtown” is a documentary about t the mass shooting of school children and faculty at Sandy Hook Elementary School in December 2012.
The film was directed by Kim Snyder and co-produced by advocate, activist and filmmaker Maria Cuomo Cole. It features several members of the Everytown Survivor Network, including Abbey Clements, Moms Demand Action Chapter member, Survivor Fellow and Survivor Engagement Lead, Sarah Clements, Abbey’s daughter and gun violence prevention advocate, and Mary Ann Jacobs, Survivor Fellow.

Before the screening, the advocacy group “Moms Demand Action For Gun Sense In America” will visit the Memorial to the Lost display at Friends Cemetery, according to the Haddonfield Sun. They will meet at 6:30 p.m., then attend the screening.
Memorial to the Lost is organized by the religious group “Heeding God’s Call.” The group posts t-shirts on crosses to commemorate those lost to gun violence the year before. For more on the initiative, visit heedinggodscall.org.
