OAKLYN, NJ — A youth soccer coach has been arrested and charged after authorities say he shared explicit photos with underage boys he coached.

Christopher Ferrari, 24, of Oaklyn, sent explicit images to underage boys he met as a coach with the South Jersey Elite Barons Youth Soccer Program, according to the Gloucester County Prosecutor’s Office. He also requested that the boys send him explicit images.

He has been charged with manufacturing child pornography and multiple counts of endangering the welfare of a child, the prosecutor’s office announced.

Ferrari surrendered at the Gloucester County Prosecutor’s Office on Tuesday, Oct. 8, and is detained at the Salem County Correctional Facility pending a first appearance in Gloucester County Superior Court. The prosecutor’s office said the South Jersey Elite Barons have been very cooperative in assisting with the investigation.
