Atlantic City Electric Now Expects Full Restoration on Monday
Saturday's storms complicated the restoration process.

Heavy rains and high winds on Saturday hampered Atlantic City Electric crews trying to complete restoration in the aftermath of Tuesday’s devastating storm. As a result, the projected deadline for full restoration has been pushed from midnight Sunday to sometime on Monday, the electric company announced on Sunday.
On Sunday, there were still 13,145 customers in Gloucester County without power. This represented 14 percent of the customer base.
In Burlington County, there were 1,381 (9 percent) without power; in Camden County, the number was 3,090 (9 percent); in Atlantic County, it was 614 (1 percent); in Cape May County, it was 17 (1 percent); in Cumberland County, it was 193 (1 percent); in Salem County, it was 1,506 (5 percent); and there were less than 5 outages reported in Ocean County.

The outages from Saturday’s storms were reflected in the outage map, but no distinction would be made as to which outages were the result of which storm.
About 65 PSE&G customers in Gloucester and Burlington counties were still without power on Sunday.
