Oversized Load Coming Through Haddonfield Next 3 Weeks

Which days will it be coming through?

PSE&G will be transporting an oversized transformer load from the port in Gloucester City to the PSE&G sub-station in Winslow Township on three consecutive Sundays beginning this weekend.

The move will start at 5:30 am and travel through Gloucester City, Mt Ephraim, Haddon Heights, Audubon, Haddonfield, Cherry Hill, and Winslow Township.

The route PSE&G will take is: Broadway in Gloucester City to Market St. to CR 551 Spur to King’s Highway to Route 73 to Cross Keys Rd. to the White Horse Pike, to Taunton Rd. to Williamstown-New Freedom Rd. to New Brooklyn-Erial Rd.

“It is important for motorists to know that this oversized load will be traveling through several Camden County municipalities and could have an impact on traffic on Sunday morning,” Camden County Freeholder Susan Shin Angulo, liaison to the Camden County Department of Public Works, said. “Please be cautious and give yourself extra time to reach your destination if you are on the roads during this time.”
