Overwhelming Response to Collection of Feminine Products and Bras; Drop-Off Bin at 7 N. Haddon Ave. Shop

Haddonfield business owner leads collection of new bras and feminine products for women in need for Distributing Dignity.

Haddonfield, NJ – Dozens of women in need throughout the South Jersey and Philadelphia region are benefiting from the kindness of strangers this holiday season thanks to Haddonfield business owner Bridget McMullin who joined with Distributing Dignity for a special collection drive.
Because of overwhelming response to The McMullin Design Group –Distributing Dignity “Thanks & Giving” campaign to collect feminine hygiene products and new bras for women in need, the drive is continuing through the December holiday season. “Each package dropped off at our store or in the bin outside is like receiving a present,” says McMullin who collaborated with Joanie Balderstone and Rebecca McIntire, co-founders of Distributing Dignity. “With all these special donations, I can only imagine how the spirits of these women are lifted as they receive their new items,” McMullin says.
“This has been an impressive showing by the community,” says Balderstone, who launched Distributing Dignity with partner Rebecca McIntire early this year. “The McMullin Design Group campaign and drop-off site has been our largest collection of items so far and we will help as many as 300 women connected with more than a half dozen organizations,” she adds.
Distributing Dignity will distribute items to survivors of domestic violence, homeless teens and adults, women aging out of foster care and those who are battling life altering illness. Distributing Dignity has also partnered with an organization for breast cancer survivors following donation of nearly 50 mastectomy bras. Distributing Dignity is a non-profit, 501c3 organization. Donations are tax deductible.
A Distributing Dignity bin is located inside The McMullin Design Group’s b Company showroom at 7 N. Haddon Ave. Donors are asked to provide new, larger-sized bras with tags on the items and new, unopened feminine products such as tampons, pads and panty liners.
