Pickup Truck Fatally Strikes Man In South Jersey: Police

The pedestrian succumbed to his injuries days after he was flown to the hospital, authorities said.

VINELAND, NJ — A man was struck by a pickup truck last week in Vineland, police said. He succumbed to his injuries on Monday.

The collision happened just before 7:30 p.m. Wednesday on S Brewster Road by School Lane.

A black 2013 Ford pickup truck was traveling northbound on S Brewer Road when it struck Alexander J. Coraci in its lane of travel, police said.

Coraci, 35, of Vineland, was flown to Cooper University Hospital, where he was pronounced dead on Monday.

The driver was unhurt.

Police are still investigating the crash, and no charges have been filed as of Tuesday morning.
