Police Investigate Deadly Shooting in South Jersey

A man was shot to death in Camden early Saturday morning.

Police are investigating a deadly shooting that occurred in Camden early Saturday morning.

Camden County Police were notified of a ShotSpotter activation at Green and Mechanic streets in Camden at about 12:25 a.m., Camden County Prosecutor Mary Eva Colalillo and Camden County Police Chief Scott Thomson said.

Police found Jameer Bullard, 18, of Camden, lying on the sidewalk with a gunshot wound. He was taken to Cooper University Hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries at 1:11 a.m.

Detectives are working to determine a motive and no arrests have been made.
