Police Investigate Fatal Hit and Run in South Jersey

An Audubon man was found lying on the side of the road in Audubon on April 9.

The Camden County Prosecutor’s Office and the Audubon Police Department are seeking information on a fatal hit and run in which a pedestrian was killed in Audubon on April 9.

Christopher Dean, 36, was found lying on the side of the road near the intersection of West Graisbury and East Atlantic avenues at about 10:40 p.m.

He was transported to Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital in Camden, where he was pronounced dead at 11:42 p.m.

An autopsy determined the cause of death to be blunt force trauma consistent with being hit by a motor vehicle, police said. The manner of death is pending.
