Police Seek Suspects in Cigarette Thefts Throughout South Jersey
A pair of unknown suspects are accused of robbing Rite Aid and Walgreen stores in Burlington, Camden and Gloucester counties.
Police are searching for a pair of unknown suspects in a string of cigarette carton thefts, mainly from Rite Aid and Walgreen’s Pharmacy stores in Burlington, Camden and Gloucester counties.
Both suspects allegedly walk to the check out counters and request a carton(s) of Newport Cigarettes. As they pretend to be paying via debit card, authorities allege they quickly grab the carton(s) of cigarettes from the store clerks and exit the stores.
Anyone with information or who can identify the suspects in the photos and video attached to this post is asked to call the Gloucester Township Police Department’s Anonymous Crime Tip Line: 856-842-5560.
