The Ray and Joan Kroc Corps Community Center Recognizes Virtua's Donation of Five Defibrillators

The Ray and Joan Kroc Corps Community Center Recognizes Virtua's Donation of Five Defibrillators

The Salvation Army Ray and Joan Kroc Corps Community Center took another step forward in offering area residents a safe and secure community center, thanks in part to a donation from Virtua, South Jersey’s largest healthcare system. The donation included five defibrillators placed throughout the 120,000-square-foot community center that opened in Camden last month.

The Kroc Center located in the Cramer Hill section of Camden, features a worship center and chapel, health center, food pantry, computer lab, black box theater and two pools – a recreational pool and a water park. It also includes outdoor soccer/football fields and baseball/softball fields on 24 acres of land. Memberships start at $25/month for a household of four.

Overseeing the Kroc Center is Kroc Center Administrator Major Paul Cain. “We are thrilled to partner with Virtua to provide our over 2,500 members with the peace of mind brought about by the donation of these defibrillators,” said Cain. “Our center is a community resource designed for people of all ages and knowing we have the tools required to keep our members and guests safe is of the utmost importance. We are grateful for Virtua’s support.”
