Renew Vows, Collect Chocolate During 'I Heart Haddonfield'

HADDONFIELD, NJ — Haddonfield will host its annual two-day celebration for Valentine’s Day on Feb. 13 and 14. ‘I Heart Haddonfield’ commences with the second annual GALentine Chocolate Crawl on Feb. 13. The event continues on Feb. 14, with vow renewals and other celebrations of commitment. Both events take place from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. in Downtown Haddonfield.

On Feb. 13, participating merchants along Kings Highway and side streets will be offering all sorts of mouth-watering chocolate treats to shoppers who visit their shops during the GALentine Chocolate Crawl. Shoppers who make purchases on Feb. 13 can enter to win a $200 town-wide gift certificate.

Proofs of purchases from any or all Downtown Haddonfield businesses made on Feb. 13 between 5 p.m. and 9 p.m. must be presented in person or mailed to the Haddonfield Information Center, located at 2 Kings Court in Haddonfield, anytime from Feb. 13-23. The winner of the gift certificate will be announced on Feb. 23.

On Feb. 14, couples, family members, and/or friends who’d like to show a commitment of love are invited to attend the vows and renewals ceremony at the “Open Heart” sculpture in Kings Court. Participants will receive flowers, chocolates and official signed certificates.

There will be live music under romantic pink lighting, and participants will be entered into a drawing for prizes including dinners from Denim and Mare Monte, goodies from King’s Road Brewing Company, and much more. Register at www.DowntownHaddonfield.com.
