Sarah Tarditi Gallagher Memorial Fund at the Community Foundation of South Jersey donates over $70,000 to South Jersey non-profits

The Sarah Tarditi Gallagher Fund (STG) at The Community Foundation of South Jersey recently hosted its annual check presentation and luncheon at Tavistock Country Club. The STG Committee awarded over $70,000 to several of South Jersey’s leading non-profits from its 7th annual STG Golf Outing. The fund was set up in loving memory of Sarah, the daughter of Jack and Barbara Tarditi of Haddonfield, who lost her battle with Leukemia in 2007 at the age of 31.
“The Tarditi family, Barbara and myself as well as our children and grandchildren are happy to have the opportunity to work with so many of our friends at the STG in honor of Sarah Tarditi Gallagher,” says Jack Tarditi. “She was a loving daughter, sister, wife and mother as well as a friend to many. We are so pleased to be able to support so many worthwhile charities through the 7th annual STG Golf Outing held in her memory,” stated Tarditi.
Checks were presented to the following organizations: Leukemia & Lymphoma Society - $20,000; Volunteers of America Delaware Valley - Home For The Brave - $10,000; MD Andersen Center Cooper - $10,000; Bring Hope Home - $10,000; Genesis Counseling Center - $10,000; and Community Foundation of South Jersey - $10,000.

“There is so much good being done in today’s world and yet there is so much need. We try to do as much as we can to support the people who are doing good, whether it’s the Leukemia Lymphoma Society, the MD Andersen Center at Cooper, the Volunteers of America or any others. We are honored to have the opportunity to work with our very dear friends, including co-chairs Bernie Parent and Dean Smith and the committee to help these worthwhile charities. We know that Sarah would be very pleased to see what has been done in her memory. We’re humbled by the generosity of so many people who have stepped forward to support our family and to share her memory. Every day is a gift,” continued Tarditi.
The 8th Annual STG Golf Outing will be held on Monday, October 12, 2015 at Tavistock Country Club in Haddonfield. To donate or to sign up for the STG Golf Outing E-Newsletter visit www.stggolfouting.com. For more information email ds@icuinvestigations.com or jenny@snjbp.com.
