Search Continues for South Jersey Woman Missing Since 2002
Tomiene "Meme" Jones was last seen in Penns Grove on April 17, 2002.

The search for Tomiene “Meme” Jones and whoever was responsible for her disappearance remains a priority, the Gloucester County Prosecutor’s Office said 13 years after the Harrison Township woman disappeared on April 18, 2002.
A $10,000 reward is being offered for information that leads to the arrest and conviction of those responsible for the disappearance of Jones, who police believe has been murdered.
The reward is jointly offered by the Jones family, the Gloucester County Prosecutor’s Office and Harrison Township.

She was 19 when she went missing, and the case was reclassified from a missing persons investigation to a homicide six months after she disappeared from her Mullica Hill West apartment.
She was last seen in Penns Grove, Salem County NJ on April 17, 2002.

Her brother found her apartment empty and the front door open the day after she failed to pick up her two-year-old daughter from a baby-sitter.
She had no history of leaving her child for extended periods.
She left behind her keys, purse and car at her residence.
She spoke to a friend on the telephone from her apartment on April 18 at about 1 a.m.
Jones’ parents took over the raising of Tomiene’s daughter at their Woodstown home.
