'Serious' Injuries, Driver Intoxicated During 4-Car Crash In Camden County: Police

It's unclear how many people sustained injuries and whether any of the injuries were life-threatening.

PENNSAUKEN, NJ — A four-car crash resulted in "serious" injuries Tuesday afternoon, authorities said. Pennsauken police suspect that one of the drivers was intoxicated.

The incident occurred just before 1 p.m. around Route 130 South and Drexel Avenue in Pennsauken, police said. Officials transported several people to Cooper University Hospital for "serious bodily injury," according to the Pennsauken Township Police Department.

Police arrested one person on suspicion of intoxicated driving.

Authorities haven't publicly identified anyone involved. It's also unclear how many people sustained injuries and whether any injuries were life-threatening.

Pennsauken police and the Camden County Prosecutor's Office continue to investigate the collision. A CCPO spokesperson withheld further information at this juncture of the investigation. Patch contacted Pennsauken police and will update with any response.
