ShopRite of Lawnside invites area families to stop by the store Friday, Sept. 8 for a fun-filled event featuring a car show.

Lawnside, N.J .– ShopRite of Lawnside invites area families to stop by the store Friday, Sept. 8 for a fun-filled event featuring a custom and classic car show, food trucks, face painting and entertainment. Proceeds from the evening benefit ShopRite’s Partners in Caring Program, which assists local food pantries, shelters, after-school programs and other efforts that aid individuals in need of food.
Festivities run from 4 to 9 p.m. on Friday. Miss Magnolia Paige Andersen will sing the National Anthem, with additional entertainment provided by the line-dancing troupe OPRAH and DJ Long from WDAS, with a special appearance from Cut Master. While the hits of the ’50s and ’60s fill the air, visitors can enjoy cars on display from the same era.
The car show entry fee is $15, which places cars in the running for a range of awards, including “Best of Show,” “Best Classic,” “Best Custom,” “Best Car to Pick Up Chicks,” “Car Elvis Might Have Driven,” “Car You Would Lose Your License In,” and more. For additional information, contact Kim Bezanis at 609-744-1104. Pre-registration is not required.
