A Somerdale man was killed when a one-pound tape measure fell 50 stories at a construction site in Jersey City and struck him in the head, NBC 40 reports.

Gary Anderson, 58, wasn’t wearing a hard hat when he delivered sheet rock to the construction site, according to the report.

Two 50-story residential buildings and a hotel are being built on the site, according to The Press of Atlantic City.
