South Jersey Woman Stabbed Person, Left Body On Front Porch: Police

BRIDGETON, NJ — A woman fatally stabbed a person and left his body on a front porch Sunday in Bridgeton, authorities said.

Police were called at 6:55 p.m. Sunday for a male screaming on the 300 block of Atlantic Street. Officers found a stabbing victim on the front porch of a home in the area.

The victim was pronounced dead at the scene. Police have not disclosed his name or age.

Wendy Perez, 27, of Bridgeton, was charged with murder and weapons offenses. She was placed in the Cumberland County Jail.
