South Park Drive Closures For Water Main Work Begin Oct. 18 In Haddon Heights

NJ American Water will be performing a water main project on South Park Drive and Prospect Ridge Boulevard from Oct. 18-26.

(Lindenwold, NJ) – NJ American Water will be performing a water main project on South Park Drive and Prospect Ridge Boulevard in Haddon Heights from Tuesday Oct. 18 to Wednesday Oct. 26. Daily work hours will run from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m., Monday through Friday.

On Tuesday, Oct.18 there will be a full road closure of South Park Drive between Prospect Ridge Boulevard and Bellmawr Avenue, a full road closure of Prospect Ridge Boulevard between Glenview and Devon avenues and a full road closure of Glenview Avenue (municipal) between Prospect Ridge Boulevard and Sycamore Avenue.

From Oct.19 to Oct. 26, there will be a full road closure of South Park Drive between Prospect Ridge Boulevard and Bellmawr Avenue.

“Since there are multiple road closures in several areas, motorists need to be alert of these changes and plan to take alternate routes,” said Commissioner Al Dyer, liaison to the Department of Public Works. “Also, remember that when you’re traveling through a construction area, please slow down and stay alert for crew members and debris.”

The Camden County Department of Public Works is responsible for maintaining over 1,200 miles of county roadway and 50 bridges. They are dedicated to making our area safer for motorists and pedestrians through county highway construction projects and road maintenance, including pothole repairs, street sweeping, grass cutting and storm drainage upkeep. The Public Works Department is located in Lindenwold where personnel are on call 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to serve the residents of Camden County.
