This free workshop features:
-an indoor informative session:
-volunteer monitoring training in general
-macroinvertebrates and how they indicate a
stream’s health
-equipment and sampling techniques
-an outdoor portion that includes
-safety
-collecting and identifying macroinvertebrates
What to Wear: Wear anything that you don’t mind getting wet. If you have pair of waders or boots, please bring them. Otherwise, we will provide-collecting and identifying them.
