Student Working Professionals Gain New Home in Glassboro and Dedicate Lundy Hall

Members of the Student Working Professionals program recently held a ribbon cutting ceremony to unveil the future home of the Student Empowerment Business Campus (SEBC).

The Student Working Professionals program (SWP) is dedicated to helping students prepare to enter the workplace as financial leaders. For more than 20 years, the SWP program has provided nearly 200 students, from high school age to college graduates, with practical, real world experience in all areas of business, non-profit and social entrepreneurship. Students who join the SWP must be actively involved in the community and participate in outreach activities.

Part of the group’s new space in Glassboro will feature a catering hall. The newly dedicated Lundy Hall is named after its previous owner, Milton Lundy. It will provide space for the SWP program to accommodate the needs of approximately 150 students per year, within the next three to five years.

“The SEBC will be a great asset to the community and will complement the revitalization underway in Glassboro,” said Dan Ruotolo, managing partner, Ruotolo, Spewak and Co. and founder of the SWP. “Our job is to spread the word about the SWP program so we can attract more students and help them become the business leaders of tomorrow.”
