On April 22, Chesterbrook Academy Preschool students in Voorhees got a little “buggy” in celebration of Earth Day. With the help of parents and teachers, students scattered across the schoolyard to release thousands of ladybugs back into the environment on plants, flowers and trees. In the days leading up to Earth Day, students learned that ladybugs feed on insects that are harmful to gardens, trees and shrubs. Chesterbrook Academy Preschool teaches the importance of community and exploring nature at a young age.
