Suspect Barricaded Himself In Camden Co. Home, Neighbors Evacuated: Police
The standoff ended when police entered the home and arrested the man. There were no injuries.
BARRINGTON, NJ — A wanted man barricaded himself inside a Barrington home, prompting police to evacuate neighbors, authorities said.
Harold Gotts was wanted for multiple assaults and other charges, police said. Barrington police located him at 2:31 p.m. Tuesday in a house on the 200 block of Courtney Drive.
Gotts claimed to have a gun and barricaded himself inside, police said. Law enforcement from Barrington and other local agencies set up a perimeter and evacuated neighbors for their safety. Personnel from critical-incident and emergency-response teams also reached the scene.

After trying to negotiate with Gotts to leave the house, authorities entered and arrested him. There were no injuries.
Displaced neighbors were able to return to their homes.
