Suspect Sought in South Jersey Bank Robbery
A robber made off with an undisclosed amount of cash on Wednesday.
Camden County Prosecutor Mary Eva Colalillo and Merchantville Police Chief Wayne Bauer are asking for the public’s help in identifying a man who robbed a bank in Merchantville on Wednesday.
The suspect entered the PNC Bank located at 26 West Maple Avenue in Merchantville and passed a demand note to a teller around 1:40 p.m.
After taking an undisclosed amount of cash, the robber fled through the back of the bank and ran east on West Maple Avenue. He didn’t display a weapon during the robbery.

The suspect is described as a white adult male standing about 5-foot-9 with a thin build. He is believed to have brown eyes and black and gray stubble. He was wearing a black cap with a small brim, a three-quarter length navy jacket, blue jeans, white sneakers and black gloves.
