Join the Haddonfield Friends of the Library for a special presentation on the history and architecture of the Kimmel Center and its contribution to Philadelphia's cultural renaissance. Haddonfield residents Joe Haro, chair of the Kimmel Center's guide program and local architectural expert, and Phil Shapiro, president of the Friends and long time Kimmel Center volunteer, will provide an overview of the Avenue of the Arts, discuss the latest innovations at the Kimmel Center, and will share how this exciting "state of the art" performing arts center has had such a positive impact on the region's cultural scene over the past 12 years.
Light refreshments will be served. This event is open to the public. There is no charge, but donations are welcome. All proceeds benefit the Haddonfield Friends of the Library.
