Person Killed By Train After Falling On Tracks At Haddonfield Station

The person fell into the track area at the PATCO stop, authorities said.

HADDONFIELD, NJ — A train struck and killed a person Monday night in Haddonfield, authorities said.

The person fell into the track area at Haddonfield Station at about 10 p.m., when an oncoming eastbound train hit them, officials said. The investigation remains ongoing, and no additional incident information is available, a spokesperson for the Delaware River Port Authority told Patch.

Haddonfield Station is part of the PATCO Speedline.

The borough's police and fire departments assisted DRPA police at the scene on Monday night.
