Teacher Appreciation Day at Staples this Saturday. In the past, the Staples in West Berlin has had the best event ever. Their event planner usually has food and lots of prizes. Hopefully, her budget hasn't been cut too much...from 9-12. Other Staples in Cherry Hill, Marlton and Staples also are having this event, although friends from around the country tell me they were a tad disappointed in Staples this year. Hey...any business that helps teachers with their out of pocket expenses, is okay in my book.

Today I was the recipient of a former student who reached out to me through Facebook, telling me about her life and how she is doing. She also thanked me for being there for her and helping her discover a love for musical theater. This is something YOU can do…reach out and thank someone for something they have done for you. You never know...it may just be the day they needed to hear from you.
