Visit Next Stage Dance and Drama to Discover Opportunities Offered this Fall

Looking for a dance studio with a friendly, nurturing environment for beginners through advanced levels? Next Stage Dance and Drama, located in Barrington, meets those requirements, and more. Discover the opportunities Next Stage provides at its upcoming in-person registration onThursday, August 20 and Monday, September 7. Both events take place from 5:30-7:00 p.m.

With nearly 50 classes for ages two through adults, Next Stage offers opportunities for everyone. Classes include: Creative Movement, Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Modern, Hip Hop, Tumbling, Musical Theatre Dance, Acting, and more.

Owner and artistic director Courtney Daniels, is an experienced choreographer and performing arts department chair/director for Paul VI High School, as well as the high school’s varsity dance team coach. She has established a rich network of instructors to teach at Next Stage. This includes accredited educators, professional ballerinas from the Pennsylvania Ballet, members of Philadanco, and Philadelphia Eagles’ Cheerleaders. Next Stage staff focus on confidence building, nurturing of performance skills, and the development of mentoring relationships with students of all ages.

The studio provides its students with a wealth of performance opportunities. The Next Stage Dance Company performed at the 2015 Orange Bowl. This marked the third time Next Stage was invited to participate in this event. In addition, the Next Stage Company has enjoyed much success at competitions. Notably, company member Nina Lomanno was named Miss Dance Xplosion for placing first overall at the Dance Xplosion National Dance Competion 2015 in Voorhees.

“We are extremely proud of all our dancers. From the youngest working on coordination and balance to the student focused on a professional dance career, we celebrate each of their accomplishments,” said Daniels.
